Comprehensive Storm Damage Restoration
If you have lived in the Puget Sound for any length of time you have been through a windstorm or too. While late Fall is usually the worst, the wind can start to howl in Fall, Spring and even Summer. Even with the latest forecasts, there is still a question of how strong a storm is. Every few years we get a strong one. Every 10 to 15 years we get a storm that receives a name. It's been 18+ years since the last of those.
When any storm hits you want to make sure that you are set for damage repairs. That's where WHD Lakewood Renovations steps in. We know these storms and know the damage that they can leave. From ripped off tiles and roofing to tree strikes hitting structures, we have repaired it all in Pierce, Kitsap, King and more Puget Sound counties and communities.
If you "win" the tree strike lottery, please give us a call to discuss how we can help quickly. Also, make sure to call us before you file a claim with your insurance!

It's Been Windy Lately!
The picture is from a tree strike during the Hanukkah Eve Storm of December 2006. That was the last storm to get a name. At some points we'll have another one of those big storms. In the meantime, we are sure to have scores of still damaging storms causing damage to our homes and property. Rain and wind can be a damaging combination and that's before losing parts of your roof or having a tree fall into the second story. We are here to help clean up after Mother Nature.
Storms can cause different types of destruction to your home. Here is more information:
Storm Damage Response Available 24/7
We understand that storms do not happen at convenient times. Sometimes you need information at 3pm. Other times it's 3am. Our damage response is available 24 hours per day, 7 days a week to help you get through the restoration process, not to mention reducing stress after a harrowing event. Once we're on the job, get ready for a systematic and thorough service that is designed to get your home back to its pre-storm condition as soon as possible.
Here is a preview or our storm damage restoration process:
- Damage assessment: We start by conducting a detailed assessment of the damage to your property. This helps us identify the severity and extent of the damage and devise a suitable restoration plan.
- Securing the property: To prevent further damage, we take immediate actions such as boarding up broken windows, tarping damaged roofs, and removing downed trees.
- Water extraction and drying: If your home has suffered water damage, we use industrial-grade water extraction equipment and dehumidifiers to dry out the affected areas.
- Debris removal and cleanup: We remove all storm-related debris and thoroughly clean your property to make it safe for restoration work.
- Restoration and repairs: Depending on the extent of the damage, our restoration work may include repairing roofs, restoring walls, replacing flooring, or any other necessary repairs.
- Final inspection and cleanup: Once the restoration work is complete, we conduct a final inspection to ensure all tasks have been done to our high standards. A final cleanup is performed to make sure your home is ready for you to move back in.
We are locally-owned. We have also experienced storm damage our own selves. We know what it's like, which is one of many reasons why we will work so hard for you.
